Dr. Amir Soheil Tolebeyan is the Founder and Medical Director of the Turquoise Institute for Interventional Pain, Headache, and Regenerative Medicine, a specialized center dedicated to advanced, minimally invasive treatments for chronic pain, headache disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions.

He is a board-certified internist with dual fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management and Headache & Facial Pain Medicine. His clinical expertise spans spine disorders, nerve pain, joint and musculoskeletal conditions, facial pain syndromes, and complex headache disorders. Dr. Tolebeyan’s approach is rooted in precision-based, evidence-driven medicine, utilizing advanced image-guided techniques to accurately identify and treat the source of pain while improving function, mobility, and quality of life.

Dr. Tolebeyan completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri. He subsequently completed a Headache and Facial Pain Fellowship at the prestigious Yale University School of Medicine, where he developed expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex headache, facial pain, and neuralgia disorders.

Following his fellowship training, Dr. Tolebeyan joined the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he taught and mentored medical students, neurology residents, and headache fellows. He later moved to Boston, where he established and directed the Headache and Facial Pain Program at Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine.

To further expand his expertise, Dr. Tolebeyan completed an Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at the highly respected Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. This advanced training allowed him to integrate state-of-the-art interventional procedures to provide comprehensive care for patients suffering from chronic pain.

Known for his thorough and compassionate approach, Dr. Tolebeyan emphasizes careful evaluation, individualized treatment plans, and a commitment to avoiding unnecessary procedures. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, contributed to the sixth edition of Bonica’s Management of Pain, and remains actively involved in advancing the fields of pain medicine and headache medicine.
